It was made by blending strictly yield-controlled Cabernet Sauvignon (85%) and Merlot (15%), from 15-80-year-old vines grown on the pebbly soil of Pauillac. It has a deep, intense dark purple colour, with expressive aromas of pronounced black fruits, blueberries and spices. Blackcurrant, plum, tobacco and oak notes appear on the complex, meaty palate. Full-bodied with ripe tannins and an extremely long finish.
