The 73 hectares of pebbly, alluvial land has been classified as Grand Cru Classé since 1855, cultivated with extremely strict yield control. Blended from 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot. It’s a dense, layered, full-bodied and top Bordeaux, early in its life. Black berry fruit, blue flowers and tobacco on the nose. Elegant and charming palate with velvety tannins and an endless finish. It shows its best form at the age of 15-20.
