A Right Bank blend of Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%), from the old vines of the Pomerol plateau, from a very low yield of 33 hl/ha. It’s pure and complex with cassis, blackberry, black cherry, plum, blueberry, graphite, truffle and violet notes. Full-bodied and dense, yet perfectly harmonious, with a smooth, silky texture. It’s a great wine from an excellent vintage, with great concentration and lots of fruit. James Suckling: 97 points.
