A rarity, a Chardonnay from the southern end of the Côte d'Or, from the village of Maranges, known for its rustic and deeper-textured red wines. Golden, floral and leaning towards richer flavours. Recommended for those who prefer the creamier expressions of the variety and are less fond of the taut, mineral, citrus-driven Chardonnay style.
