The blend varies from year to year, but the grapes typically come from nearly 50-year-old vineyards in the classic Chardonnay villages of the Côte de Beaune. At the winery, it undergoes spontaneous fermentation, followed by one year of ageing in used oak barrels on fine lees. Citrus, yellow apple, limestone, honey and white flowers. The palate is rich and balanced.
The 2022 vintage is characterised by confidence. After the challenging 2021, 2022 rewarded growers both in terms of quantity and quality. Its intense flavours offer plenty even for those just getting acquainted with the region, while its complexity can also captivate seasoned Burgundy enthusiasts. A crowd-pleasing vintage.
