Pierre Girardin is only in his early-20s, yet he makes wines in Burgundy with incredible experience and confidence. Backed by 13 generations of Burgundian ancestry, his portfolio includes vineyards such as Batard-Montrachet or Échezeaux that are considered unapproachable by many. His first vintage was in 2017, and since then he has been refining his own style, defined by taut, pristinely pure, elegant and detail-rich wines. Available for the first time in the Bortársaság selection.

In Vosne-Romanée, Burgundy's narrow elite converges. Plots and vineyards here change hands only in leap years, and when they do, the price per hectare is set in eight figures and in euros. These are the world's most valuable agricultural lands.  Törékeny, filigrán, finomra csiszolt burgundi. Pierre harvests from two organically-cultivated plots (Damaudes and La Croix Blanche) from vines of over 30 years old. In the cellar, the bunches are placed into the fermentation vat whole, without destemming. For the one-year ageing period, 30% new barrels are used. Unfiltered and unfined. A delicate, slender and refined Burgundy.
