In every vintage, this is the Thibault Liger-Belair wine with the finest texture and the lightest hue. A blend from five different old-vine plots in Chambolle-Musigny (Les Mal Carrées, Les Maladières, Derrière le Four, Les Fremières and Les Gamaires), with plantings dating from 1951 to 1958. Chambolle-Musigny is home to some of the world's most subtle, finely structured red wines. This character is subtly influenced by the winemaking style, and the depth typical of Thibault brings an additional layer to this wine as well. The 2021 vintage yielded very little in quantity, but offered Burgundy winemakers all the more in terms of quality.
