The extremely dry and droughty vintage meant a lot of work for the Moulin de Gassac winery that works according to ecological principles. However, their efforts rewarded them with even better results. There’s a real fruit bomb in the bottle, a blend of 60% Syrah, 30% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. After the short maceration, the wine was aged for 5-6 months in tanks. It’s a light, soft, almost balmy red wine.
