The grapes were harvested from the really old vines of Touraine’s most highly valued silex, clay and stony soils, which are often described as ‘flinty’, with half a year of ageing of fine lees. It is the epitome of the more classic, rather Old World style Sauvignon Blanc image that has found itself halfway between the aromas and the place of growth. A deep greenish-yellow colour, vegetal aromas of grass, mint, nettle and hemp. A taut, long and mineral wine.
