This wine stands as one of Provence rosé's great classics – equally worthwhile for people just discovering the style as it is for those who know exactly what they're looking for. A blend of Mediterranean Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carignan, though the grape varieties matter less than the sum of the parts they create together. Grapefruit and nectarine, minerality and citrus notes. The palate reveals vibrant acidity with subtle strawberry and raspberry touches, some mandarin peel, culminating in a cool, vibrant minerality. Taut, refreshing and supremely drinkable, which is exactly what one expects from a Provence rosé. It doesn't try to be more than it is, and that's precisely what makes it perfect.

Alain Combard got famous via Domaine Laroche winery in Chablis, but his heart took him back south, where he established the Figuiére estate. 85 hectares in ‘the Garden of Eden’: grapes, rows of trees, eucalyptus groves and the blue of the Mediterranean Sea behind. Organically cultivated grapes, classic Provence rosé.
