Year after year, Figuière’s organic ‘estate wine’ from Provence is a great experience. It not only ticks all the boxes of the style, but combines them in the best possible balance, with energy, finesse and character. Figuière’s distinctive style can best be understood through this wine – while most blends use Cinsault and Grenache as the base and treat Mourvèdre merely as a seasoning, here Mourvèdre makes up a full third of the blend. This brings roundness and distinctive depth. From an early harvest in a low-yield, warm vintage.

Under-ripe peach, citrus and floral character, with the vibrant acidity accompanying the creamy texture. Aromatic, light and full of detail. A good choice, one step above the regional entry-level wines. A classic Figuière wine.
