A full-bodied, yet ethereal, light wine with green herbs, red fruits, sweet citrus and subtly sour minerality throughout.
A blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvédre and Syrah from a total of 4.5 hectares, from the edge of the village of La Ciotat. The vines are nearly 40 years old, the cultivation is organic, the soil is chalky, snow-white and calcareous. Destemming of the grapes is followed by really brief skin contact, then fermentation in temperature-controlled tanks, with ageing on the lees for a few months. Bottled without fining, and only with a little filtering.
