A classic GSM blend from the Rhône Valley, made in the Perrin family’s clear and dependable style. The base comes from the clay-limestone soils of the Grand-Prébois vineyards and the quartz-rich, marly-limestone terraces of Vinsobres. After bunch selection, the destemmed grapes were fermented in cooled stainless steel tanks, then the wine was aged partly in tanks and partly in oak barrels. The colour is deep ruby red. The nose shows cherry, black berry fruit and subtle spiciness, with a slight earthy note and hints of truffle. On the palate, it is meaty and well-structured, with elegant tannins and lively acidity. The ripe fruit is followed by a long, spicy finish. A serious yet fresh Rhône red with great drinkability, which is currently showing very well.
