A classic Côtes du Rhône blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah from the clay, limestone soil of the Grand Prébois vineyard and the quartz-rich, marl, limestone terraces of Vinsobres. Following sorting and destemming, the wine was rested in temperature-controlled tanks, followed by a year of ageing, partly in both steel tanks and oak barrels. It has an elegant, deep red colour with purple tints, truffle and cherry aromas on the intense nose. The palate is rich and meaty with loads of berry fruits. It’s a soft and balanced wine with gentle tannins, and a long, spicy finish – a great estate red from the Rhône Valley legend.
