The iconic winery’s entry-level wine which, similarly to the previous vintages, is distinctive, sophisticated and elegant. Freshness, the minerality of the slate soil, citrusy notes like lime appear on the nose first, alongside some peach. The same notes return on the palate, the residual sugar can be felt on the finish, which goes very well with the lively acids.
One of the most important family estates of the Mosel region, from Brauneberg, with a 400-year-old history. The winery’s Riesling grapes grow on extremely steep slopes, among others, in the famous Juffer vineyard, on slate soil. The grapes are turned into wines in a unique, pure style by the team of Oliver Haag.
