A Mosel classic. This estate’s entry-level Riesling is anything but simple. It comes from hand-harvested grapes from vineyards around Brauneberg that have pure slate soils. It undergoes spontaneous fermentation, partly in large oak vats, partly in stainless steel. Peach and citrus aromas, followed on the palate by bracing, vibrant acidity and subtle minerality. A precise, racy and lively wine.
One of the most important family estates of the Mosel region, from Brauneberg, with a 400-year-old history. The winery’s Riesling grapes grow on extremely steep slopes, among others, in the famous Juffer vineyard, on slate soil. The grapes are turned into wines in a unique, pure style by the team of Oliver Haag.
