The winery’s benchmark village wine, with a fine twist and lengthy ageing. 2018 was the first vintage that was left on the lees for two full years and then aged in stainless steel tanks. Aromas of ripe tropical fruits, melon, pear, stone fruits and herbal notes. Juicy fruitiness on the palate, pineapple, apricot and a mineral finish. It has a powerful yet elegant body, coupled with a taut acid structure.
One of Germany’s largest family wineries and biodynamically cultivated estates. They have 86 hectares and instead of growing further, they’re cutting down in order to improve the biodynamic growing. Beside the dry Rieslings, they are known for their sweet wines. They classify their vineyards based in a Burgundian way.
