The entry-level wine of the VDP classification that gives an insight into the style of the winery and the diversity of its vineyards. A typical Pfalz Riesling with elegant acidity, subtle minerality and lots of fruit. Following the harvest, each batch was pressed and fermented separately. In order to preserve the rich character of the wine, fermentation was carried out in steel tanks. Warmer-toned citrus fruit, orange, tangerine and clementine on the nose, apricot and pineapple on the palate. It has a long finish thanks to the lively acids.
One of Pfalz’s big classics with a 300-year-old history and a winemaking family that has defined German wine culture. The varieties and the best plots haven’t changed. The 50-hectare estate is cultivated biodynamically, and Bassermann-Jordan wines are made with whole-bunch pressing, and long, cool, tank fermentation.
