The Budai Zöld is harvested from the Kisörs Hill’s protected, south- to southeast-facing vineyard with its special mesoclimate and already 50-year-old vines. It’s made with whole-bunch pressing, which is followed by short temperature-controlled fermentation in steel tanks. The variety grows on the Permian red sandstone, and has high acidity, an elegant and lean structure, plus citrusy and green notes that emphasize its varietal character.
