A new wine has been created on Robert Gilvesy's gorgeous estate. The story of George started in 2019. The basic idea was an organic estate wine blended from grapes only grown on Szent György Hill, which speaks both about the hill and about Robert's Canadian roots. George returned as a completely new wine, leaving behind the previous branding and wine style, but continuing the core idea. Furmint, Olaszrizling and Riesling take part in equal proportions. After spontaneous fermentation, it was aged for eight months in tanks and used Hungarian barrels. Well-thought-out, detailed and extremely enjoyable.

Orange oil, pollen, yellow apple and lemon tart. Juicy and easy-drinking in structure, with a fine salinity in the background, which is present in all of Robert's wines. Robert Gilvesy's grandfather, named George, emigrated to Canada in 1929 to the Great Lakes region. He participated in the construction of the Hungarian church in the tobacco region, which was eventually dedicated to Saint George, with a fresco depicting him. This is where Robert first encountered the martyr's legend, which also permeates the history of the Balaton mesa, on which he now lives and makes wine.
