“The 4Hegy is one of our most special wines from the land of mesas. The four volcanic mesas are all individuals, yet they come from the same cradle. We blend the Olaszrizlings of the hills of Badacsony, Gulács, Csobánc, and the Köves-hegy, so that the plots bring the best out in each other and of the outcome,” says Bence Laposa.
The 15- to 25-year-old vines of the winery’s best vineyards give the raw material to this rich blend. Some 30% of the must was fermented and aged in barrels, while 70% was made reductively. The half a year of ageing was carried out in large ászok barrels and tanks.
