Korkován is a name that sounds unfamiliar even to those who know the wine region well, referring to a vineyard on the north-western side of Badacsony. This half-hectare site, planted with 15-year-old Kéknyelű vines, first produced a standalone wine at the Badacsonytördemic winery in 2021, and has only been bottled in the finest vintages since.

After hand harvesting, the wine fermented in tank with natural yeast, with 30% matured for six months in three-year-old 500-litre barrels, with minimal lees stirring.

Floral, chamomile and herbal aromas, with drive and finesse, elegance and minerals.
