Zeus is an excellent accumulator of sugar and acidity, allowing it to pleasantly surprise year after year. In 2023, superb balance between acid and sugar was achieved, resulting in a semi-dry wine with 13.6 g/l of residual sugar. Thanks to its taut acidity, the wine is dynamic and energetic. The palate is dominated by pear, pineapple, mango and sweet oak spices, with nettle and mint appearing on the finish. Very long with great mouthfeel, mineral and very different from the previous vintage, but this is precisely why the variety is so exciting.
