Badacsonyi Cabernet Franc 2019

Since 2008, Balázs’ faith has been unbroken in the fusion between the grape variety and the wine region, and already the third vintage of the wine with the Loire-like, cooler style has been made. Half of the wine originating from the crop of the vines planted on the eastern side of Csobánc Hill in 2016 was aged in new, the other half in used, 225-litre Trust barrels. It brings the youthful notes of the variety and is characterised by sour cherry, blackberry, red berry fruits and well definable barrel spices.
