Our indigenous, rare grape variety, Kéknyelű, is grown on less than 50 hectares, most of which is located in its homeland, in the volcanic Badacsony. In the interpretation of the Szászis, the variety shows a truly beautiful face: fresh spring flowers dominate the nose, then there’s ashy peaches and citrus on the bone-dry, substantial palate, with vibrant minerality and terroir emphasis. Fermented spontaneously in a tank, then matured for 3 months in 1-2 year old, 500-litre oak barrels.
