Kéknyelű is our indigenous, rare grape variety, with less than 50 hectares under vine, most of which is found in its homeland, the volcanic Badacsony. In the interpretation of Szászi estate, the variety reveals its truly beautiful side: aromas dominated by fresh spring flowers, a bone-dry, substantial palate with velvety peach and citrus, vibrant minerality and a strong sense of terroir. Fermentation took place spontaneously in tank, followed by 3 months of maturation in 1-2-year-old, 500-litre oak barrels.
