This special variety from Badacsony, which was created in 1957 by the crossing of the Kéknyelű and the Budai Zöld varieties, is a real novelty of the Szászi estate. It was named after the flat basalt stone of Badacsony Hill; the poet Sándor Kisfaludy and his wife and muse Róza Szegedy sat on this stone and enjoyed the sight of Lake Balaton. The variety conveys the characteristics of the place of growth perfectly. Understated peach blossom, citrus, neutral character on the nose. Green apple with white peach on the palate, while the finish is full of minerality.
