Born from a crossing of the Budai Zöld and Kéknyelű varieties, the Rózsakő grape was originally intended as a propagation partner for Kéknyelű. It takes its name from the Rózsakő (Rose stone) in Badacsony, where legend says Sándor Kisfaludy and Róza Szegedy spent much of their time, and where their love blossomed atop this very stone. The wine is fresh and mineral-driven, complemented by subtle notes of fruit and flowers.
