The Cabernet Franc style of the Csobánc estate shows intense and layered aromas: spicy-peppery, full of black berry fruits, cassis and blueberry aromas, plus notes reminiscent of cool greens, mint and eucalyptus. The excitement is further enhanced by the juiciness of the unfiltered wine; its fruity, oaky flavours; the acidity that runs through the whole palate; and the medium tannins. It underwent slow, controlled fermentation, then the larger part was aged in 500-litre Stockinger barrels, and the smaller part was aged in 228-litre new, French barrels for 18 months.
