The 2023 Chardonnay from Villa Tolnay is a refined and elegant wine that reflects the exceptional qualities of the Balaton-felvidék (Balaton Uplands) terroir. It underwent spontaneous fermentation in 300-litre barrels and was subsequently aged in the same barrels for 9-10 months. The palate is well-balanced, with fresh acidity beautifully complementing the creamy texture, leading to a long, mineral finish.
