The two Loliense wines remain the backbone of the Konyári selection. The blending ratio of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc has remained unchanged since the first vintages. As always, ageing was carried out in new and used 225-litre Trust barrels for 14 months. The 2022 vintage reveals an even more concentrated style, yet retains its signature balance. Pronounced but well-integrated oak, sweet spices and a backdrop of ripe fruit lead to a long finish. Compared to previous years, the wine’s structure is tauter and its flavours are more purely defined. No exaggeration, no overripeness, but just an added layer of depth and precision, which has been bestowed by the vintage and ageing. It has the feel of a prestigious wine, elevated to new heights.
