"A beautiful, aged full-bodied Kékfrankos, an important variety, from an important vineyard," says Dani Konyári.
From a small-bunched German clone that yields concentrated wines, the grafts of which Dani brought up to the hill in 2003. One-quarter of it was aged in new barrels, the larger part in used 500-litre barrels for 12 months. "The János-hegy is a plot with more clay than all our other locations, it was obvious that it calls for a Burgundy-originating variety."
