Siller is an integral part of Hungarian wine culture, as it has always been the easy- drinking, everyday wine of grape growers. Kristinus’ South Balaton siller is made based on Swabian and Rascian traditions, with Kékfrankos playing a major role. The organically grown berries and bunches were cold macerated for three days and the result is a deeper pink coloured, pronouncedly fruity wine. It’s a natural wine that was bottled unfiltered and spontaneously fermented, then aged for six months on fine lees.
