Gyula Pálffy moved back to Köveskál in 1998, to the place where his family comes from and following in centuries of family tradition, he started making wines. Today he cultivates grapes on 4.5 hectares around the plot where his grandfather’s cellar used to be, on the southern side of the volcanic soiled Fekete-hegy. His principles are to pursue natural winemaking, creating wines of brilliant balance.
