A classic, spicy Syrah with a deep colour and a possibly even deeper palate from the estate's central vineyard called Hajnóczy. After the manual harvest, it was traditionally fermented spontaneously in open vats, then aged in used 500-litre barrels for two years. The unfiltered bottling was followed by another year and a half of bottle ageing. Black olives, green herbs, elegant acidity and a round structure.
Homola estate has been spent developing a new image. In terms of grape growing and winemaking, they have been following the terroir-based, organic direction for a long time. The focus is on Paloznak, two local varieties (Olaszrizling, Kékfrankos) and two international varieties (Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah).
