A one-off wine with unique flavours. The selected bunches were harvested from the Kútfői vineyard of Dörgicse’s Halom Hill, from 5-year-old Furmint wines and were pressed at the cellar without destemming. “It had the same nose even as must,” says Gyula about the explosive, exotic, freshly flavoursome wine. After the brief fermentation in the barrel, it was aged for half a year in steel tanks. We underlined it thickly at our February tasting, and Gyula bottled it without filtering or fining, in order to keep most of the harvest flavours. It’s one of the best Káli Kövek wines of the last couple of years, which with its unfiltered style differs from the other village wines, thus the ancient coat of arms of Dörgicse was put onto the label, in which the green symbolizes the grapes and the blue stands for Lake Balaton.
