The cap’s message is that you should drink it at once. The bottle is called ‘Füreder’, we buy it from an Austrian producer – and the Füred mineral water used to be in this kind of bottle and also the Kiskőrös apple wine. That’s our childhood. A table wine in the best sense of the word. It’s the first red wine jointly made by Attila Homonna and his friend, Pityke, and is purely from Kékfrankos. The whole berries were spontaneously fermented in open vats, and the wine was bottled unfiltered with a minimal amount of sulphur. It turned out exactly the way we imagined, even from the first tasting: the cool, medium-bodied palate is slightly rustic. It’s thirst-quenching and a Kékfrankos through and through.
