An estate wine from the Balaton vineyard of the Archdiocese of Veszprém, from areas that have been cultivated by the archdiocese since 1277. The raw material came from grapes selected from Mindszentkálla’s leaner, mainly volcanic vineyards and Felsőörs' clay-rich, fertile soil, providing an even more substantial and complex experience in 2023. Half of it is Riesling, almost a third is Olszrizling, and for spice there’s 10% of Királyleányka and 10% Zöldveltelini (Grüner Veltliner). Controlled fermentation in the cellar, with sparkling wine yeast, followed by three months of fine-lees aging. Fresh and extremely aromatic, a palate you can almost bite into, ripe peaches and citrus fruit with subtle saltiness in the background. Deep flavours, vibrant minerality and a balanced structure raise the brightness of the archdiocese's sacramental wine to a new level.
