A red ‘field blend’ from the 6.5-hectare estate in Babatonszőlős, made from the Merlot and Pinot Noir varieties, from the one-hectare parcel next to the old stone cellar. The two varieties were harvested on the same day in 2020, and they were also co-fermented. After being pressed, the wine was aged for a year in barrels without sulphur. It has become a more elegant and a more detailed wine than previous years, and the few grams of residual sugar left at the end of fermentation gives roundness and richness to the wine, instead of sweetness.
