Every vintage is a great experience, and the 2019 Agapé is no exception.

On the nose, it shows the vineyard’s signature fully ripe fruits: blackberries, blueberries, cherries, with subtle raspberry-yogurt notes, sweet spices and hints of marzipan. On the palate, there’s beautiful harmony, ethereal clarity, lively acidity, excellent tannins, a rounded body and a long finish. The flavours echo the aromas, with fruit, spices and marzipan, complemented by a slight chalky grip.

After destemming, fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks or open vats for 18-21 days. Following gentle pressing, the wine was settled and then aged in oak barrels. The new 2019 vintage recently received 96 points in the Falstaff Wine Guide, marking the winery’s first appearance in this international wine guide, immediately placing them among the top ranks. Additionally, at the 2025 Decanter World Wine Awards, they won a gold medal – all entries submitted by St. Andrea were awarded, with two of their Bikavér wines receiving gold distinction.
