The top white blend of the Egerszalók winery from one of the most unique domestic places of growth. The Chardonnay, Furmint and Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown on the marine sediment and limestone subsoil of Nagy-Eged Hill are harvested and selected by hand. The wine underwent controlled fermentation, partly in barrels, partly in tanks, and was aged for 10 months. It has an elegant, layered, classic Burgundian style. White flowers, white-fleshed peach on the nose, green pear on the palate, with a salty-mineral finish.
The story of György Lőrincz and his family is a two-decade-long success story, during which they went from being a small winery to becoming an icon of the wine region, with international awards, a restaurant, a wine bar and emblematic wines. The Egerszalók winery focuses on local varieties and the terroir.
