This is St. Andrea estate’s flagship white blend, crafted from hand-harvested, selected Chardonnay and Furmint bunches grown on Nagy-Eged Hill. The vineyards lie above 400 metres, on marine sediment–limestone soils, which give the wine’s elegant acidity. To achieve its unmistakable Burgundian style, the wine spent 10 months in new French oak barrels. Sweet spices, quince and ripe yellow-fleshed fruits on the nose, followed on the palate by vibrant acidity, a creamy texture and a long, mineral finish.

The story of György Lőrincz and his family is a two-decade-long success story, during which they went from being a small winery to becoming an icon of the wine region, with international awards, a restaurant, a wine bar and emblematic wines. The Egerszalók winery focuses on local varieties and the terroir.
