The Egerszalók estate aimed for a fresh and fruity character in the making of this wine. The grapes come from several vineyards in Eger, with soils of thick brown forest earth over tuff, which are also rich in clay. The climate is continental, with cold winters and hot summers. The 2025 vintage is noted for its lightness, freshness and intensity. On the nose, it opens with plenty of juicy citrus, while white peach also comes through. A joyful, subtle white wine, with lively acidity.

The story of György Lőrincz and his family is a two-decade-long success story, during which they went from being a small winery to becoming an icon of the wine region, with international awards, a restaurant, a wine bar and emblematic wines. The Egerszalók winery focuses on local varieties and the terroir.
