The rosé of the Egerszalók winery that bears the poetic name of the Virgin Mary was this vintage made in 100% vats, blended from Kékfrankos, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir grapes harvested at different levels of ripeness. A fresh and crispy wine with aromas of raspberries, rosehip, strawberries, cherries and roses. The palate is dominated by acidity and roundness, with a long finish.
The story of György Lőrincz and his family is a two-decade-long success story, during which they went from being a small winery to becoming an icon of the wine region, with international awards, a restaurant, a wine bar and emblematic wines. The Egerszalók winery focuses on local varieties and the terroir.
