An outstanding Eger estate, where even the entry-level red wine is a Bikavér. Just like its bigger brothers, it’s a colourful medley of international and local varieties grown on volcanic soil. A part of the batch was fermented in vats by variety, and then the wines were aged in large oak barrels until blending. It’s light, refreshing, fun and dynamic. Fruits, delicious spices, red and black berries, blackcurrants and sour cherries.
The story of György Lőrincz and his family is a two-decade-long success story, during which they went from being a small winery to becoming an icon of the wine region, with international awards, a restaurant, a wine bar and emblematic wines. The Egerszalók winery focuses on local varieties and the terroir.
