One of the main varieties of the Ménesi wine region feels great on granite and mica soil. The manually-harvested grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation, then the wine is aged in oak barrels for a year. The nose has very delicious aromas of forest fruits, raspberries, strawberries, and the fine spices characteristic of Kadarka. A leaner, more elegant palate than the usual Balla style, with a long finish.
