From 15-year-old vines, growing in the volcanic granite soils of Arad-hegyalja Ménes. Fermented in tanks with yeast, then aged for 14 months in large Hungarian ászok oak barrels. A deep, spicy, multi-layered, pure red wine, made complex by the notes of oak, the unique terroir and the grape variety that made Ménes famous. A deep red coloured, warm and spicy-scented yet light-bodied Kadarka. Subtle and rounded on the palate, with notes of wild berries, ripe cherry, cumin and pepper, leading to a long finish.
