Minutes can pass until someone eventually tastes it. Until then, aromas pop up without a break: plum, blackcurrant, then tobacco, and chocolate after a bit, then eventually brandy-filled sour cherry. The high alcohol doesn’t go unnoticed, but it doesn’t stick out either. The same comes back on the palate, sometimes in this order, sometimes in a different one.
