The Kadarka grapes for this Sziklabor, which has a deeper feel than the variety’s typical character, are harvested from the 25-year-old vines of the higher areas of the Ménes wine region. Its rich, spicy character with redcurrant is given by the 2 years of ageing in 300- and 500-litre barrels. It rewards decanting.
