Part of Balla Géza's Sziklabor series, this Kadarka is crafted from low-yield vines grown on granite and rocky diorite soil on a 4-hectare parcel. Hand-harvested, spontaneously fermented, and aged in barrels for one year and then in bottles for another year, it shows impressive notes of ripe sour cherry, dried plum, rum-soaked walnuts and an almost aszú-like richness.
